Mallu Cyber Soldiers

This document outlines the operational protocol for the use of cookies and similar tracking technologies on the Mallu Cyber Soldiers (MCS) community website (hereinafter referred to as "The Network"). Our use of these technologies is strictly minimal, focused on operational security (OpSec), and designed to minimize external tracking.

1. The Protocol of Necessity: Strictly Essential Cookies

The Network utilizes cookies only where absolutely necessary for site functionality, member access, and operational security. We do not use cookies for advertising, commercial tracking, or broad analytics.

Cookie CategoryPurposeData StoredLongevity
AuthenticationStores a session identifier to maintain your secure, logged-in status.Encrypted Session IDSession duration
OpSec/SecurityStores tokens used for Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) defense and bot detection.Randomized Security TokenSession/Short-term
PreferencesStores your display settings (e.g., dark mode preference, language).Non-identifying Preference FlagUp to 1 Year

2. Encryption and Non-Identification

  • Encrypted Payloads: All functional cookies containing sensitive session data are encrypted and accessible only by The Network's core servers.

  • Pseudonymity: The cookies we deploy do not store personal identifying information (PII) such as real names, IP addresses (long-term), or external identifiers. They link only to your internal, pseudonymized user account (Handle) within The Network.

3. Third-Party Tracking: The Zero-Tolerance Rule

  • The Network does not permit the injection or deployment of third-party advertising, commercial tracking, or broad-spectrum analytical cookies (e.g., Google Analytics, social media trackers).

  • Our focus is on minimizing the digital footprint and preventing external entities from profiling our membership.

4. Member Control and OpSec Mandate

By accessing The Network, you implicitly consent to the deployment of the strictly essential cookies required for authentication and security.

  • Browser Configuration: You have the capability to manage or block cookies through your browser settings. However, blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in and accessing the secure, internal areas of the site.

  • Clearance: Members are advised to clear their browser cookies and cache after every sensitive session for enhanced personal OpSec.

5. Protocol Updates

This Cookie Protocol is subject to review and update to maintain compliance with evolving OpSec best practices. Critical changes will be communicated via internal announcements.

Effective Protocol Date: November 25, 2025

MCS: The system is hardened. The perimeter is secure.
